I’m sure everyone is as excited as me for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland with Johnny Depp and Anne Hathaway! Many of us grew up with Disney movies and Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorites! Now with all of the graphic effects and technology this movie is going to look completely insane compared to the old-school version! Some people are so so excited, they even created product lines inspired by the new movie! I’m completely obsessed.

OPI, the best nail polish company ever, released a nail polish color collection called “Alice and the Wonderland” with vibrant colors and tons of glitz and glam! The collection consists of a super bright coral red color called “Off With Her Red” then there is a deeper red called “Thanks So Muchness!” Of course there is an “Absolutely Alice” bottle which is a bright blue with sparkly glitter and you can’t miss the “Mad As a Hatter” color which is a deep dark purple with multiple glitter colors of green, gold, pink, blue and gold (highly recommended by me). Since all of the colors that the Alice in Wonderland collection for OPI are so glittery and thick, the nail polish actually lasts longer than the regular plain colors! Well OPI is the best anyways because every other company’s nail polishes always chip!

Another company who was also inspired from the movie was the makeup company Urban Decay. Urban Decay is always known for palettes that are already created with tons of colors already pre-arranged and set for you, so there’s not much hard work trying to find individual colors yourself! They decided to release a limited edition palette called “Book of Shadows!” Right when you open this “Book” you encounter a pop-up scene of Alice in the mushroom forest, with her “drink me” bottle that she already devoured, on the floor, you can also see that she meets the hookah smelling Caterpillar, or was it really hookah? haha. There is a large mirror behind the scene to apply your makeup, but also get the “Alice in Wonderland” experience, which you probably wont be using since there’s gigantic mushrooms covering the mirror. The eye shadows also have Wonderland names like White Rabbit, Jabberwocky and Oraculum. Not only are there just eyeshadows they included eyeshadow potions and liners. Haha, of course they called it potions, like the movie, so cute! It’s a complete “Alice in Wonderland” beauty package and anyone who loves Alice & Makeup should totally get it! duhh!! so go get it!!
