Blackberry vs. iPhone

wish I could have both but not carry 2 phones! which do you prefer??? xoxo

I’ve had the Blackberry Bold 9000 for a while now, and I love it but I also hate it. I have gone through about 5 blackberries before this one including the Pearl and the Curve and I’ve encountered the most problems with the 9000 because it freezes and shuts off all of a sudden, and the battery power is awful. Now that the Blackberry 9700 is out, the 9000 is out and the new version is “in” and way more high-tech! So I was reading some forums thinking it’s probably time for me to either upgrade my phone to the 9700 or get the iPhone. Yes I’m thinking of joining the iPhone cult. I absolutely love the applications, but the only thing is, I don’t know how to depart from my Blackberry. It is seriously like divorcing someone because the Blackberry and I have developed a very close relationship. When I went over to Japan, my Blackberry worked fine, I added a data plan and the email and messaging worked fine. I use a lot of data on my blackberry, from using blackberry messenger and e-mailing and mms-ing and I am able to type super fast with the physical keyboard even with my long nails! But what the iphone has over the blackberry is its web-browsing, and youtube! Blackberry, no matter how much they upgrade their system, the website is shown in its mobile version and it is way too tiny and hard to manage. The interface of the iPhone is way bigger and the web browsing is phenomenal. The facebook application on the iphone is way better and there are hundreds of twitter application on the iphone, and the iphone network has not shut down, but blackberry or (RIM) has had many times where it has shut down. Blackberry cameras do have flash where the iphone never had one, but the iphone video recording is way more clear. I can honestly go on and on about the differences of both phones and why I like one over the other. I just want both but carrying both would just be annoying. Forums say if you are a “message-r” like me, using a lot of texts (i do about 5000 a month), bbm, email, use the blackberry. But if you are into being a web nerd, browsing (which is also me) use the iphone. Some people say the iPhone is superior, and some people say BlackBerry is. I’ve always managed to stick with BlackBerry, but I’ve used my friends iPhones a lot. So I’m thinking of just getting the ipod touch and using the apps and browsing and then upgrading my blackberry to the 9700 and hoping it isn’t a bad choice. I used to have the ipod touch but I gave it to my older brother cuz I had an Ipod nano and didn’t think I would use it, lol. Wish I could ask for it back but that’s kind of rude, haha. What do you guys think and what phones do you use? I never thought this day would come. Tell me your feedback!!
