So the newest club in Hollywood, besides Drai’s Hollywood which also opened last saturday is Club Industry (the newly remodeled AREA) and I was fortunate enough to go to Carl Choi’s Birthday party there this past saturday! It looks amazing!!! This Saturday, I am hosting the party along with JPy Magazine! JPy magazine is the only Japanese American bilingual magazine which brings awareness about the Japanese-American kawaii (cute) culture. It’s a super cute magazine and every girl who is Japanese who lives in LA should totally pick one up! There’s makeup tips, where to shop, things you can wear in LA that’s Japanese influenced! Totally something I would read! I’m so excited to be hosting the party with them! Tokyo Game Show Billboard

Tokyo Game Show was out of control. There were 180 exhibitors there and I know that doesn’t seem like a lot compared to E3 and Comic-con but all of the largest gaming companies were presented there. The exhibitors were Sony, Microsoft, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Capcom and Namco Bandai and a lot more. The booth babes were definitely immaculately dressed and super kawaii (that’s cute in Japanese). I learned a lot about the new games coming out this season and you can catch my footage on UFRAGTV.

After being there I totally want a PSP go, the new smaller PSP which doesn’t even need any UMD cards. Everything is downloadable! Talk about technology! The interviewee’s were mostly all Japanese speaking only so interviewed in both Japanese and English. There was a Tekken 6 competition at Namco Bandai and the players came from all around the world. I was suprised to see people from Hungary, Iran, and Italy visiting the game show, but gaming is a very influential industry! Most of all I loved the professional Cosplayer’s. For those of you who don’t know what Cos-play is its a shortened term for Costume-Play.

These people dress up as gaming and anime characters from head to toe and act like the characters as well. The Japanese cosplayers overall definitely seemed way more meticulous and intricate than the cosplayers I see in the U.S. I have some photos with them, and again, all of the footage is on UFRAGTV. The show is about an hour but you should definitely watch it!

Tokyo Day 1

11 hour flights are so boring. I am on the plane right now on the way to Tokyo. My butt hurts, and my feet are cramped. Wish there was wifi, that’s seriously all I need! Life without wi-fi is empty, lol. I really can’t even tell if its cold or hot either in this place with my juicy tracksuit on I feel both hot and cold. After tossing and turning from 3 separate 20 min naps, meal breaks, playing scribble and mario kart on the ninento dsi, listening to every song on my ipod and watching the movie on my screen, and having a 3 hour intense conversation with my boss, I still have 2 hours and 30 min left! The anticipation of arriving to your destination is just wild! I want to be in Tokyo just so bad! I cannot wait to see the new fashion trends, the new technology, and my friends there! Tonight I am attending a party at le baron de paris in tokyo with my friend yoshio from dim mak with steve aoki, m-flo, and verval! Sound familiar? They r japanese celebs – well steve aoki is a japanese-american dj, he’s amazing! Now for another meal before we land! Brb xoxo Arika ♥
